I spent my childhood in a land of snow that reaches your knees, with a big statue of Yuri Gagarin on the horizon. Now I live in the city, not far from the centre of Moscow. I have no idea why I'm here, but I don't mind as long as some dear and beautiful people are also spending their time here with me.

I do Irish dancing and photography, and luckily both give me opportunities to travel. I love to be where there's fog, sunlight, warm nights, colorful clothes, water, forests and mountains. Any kind of wilderness makes me instantly happy. The best places to go to for me are quiet places like Land's End in Cornwall, empty Stromness on New Year's eve, or a country house in Krossoy island in Norway. Other than that all my personal geography revolves around people I meet or travel with. From all the places I've been I remember peoples' hair, eyes, little personal words and colors. Very melancholic perhaps but I prefer to think of it as cinematic.
